Would you like to make a difference to your community?
Wantage Independent Advice Centre is looking for volunteers to fill various vacancies, offering you the chance to be part of a caring, valued and happy team.
Volunteer Debt Advisors (don’t at this time have to see clients Face to Face)
We have several vacancies for volunteer Debt Advisors.
In this role you will assist clients to get a clear picture of their financial situation, ensure correct entitlement to benefits where appropriate and negotiate with creditors up to and including bankruptcy.

Volunteers will be expected to take both external and in house training to meet the requirements of the role and will receive ongoing support from our experienced mentoring team. Full training will be given on the software programmes used by the WIAC. Volunteers must be available for 2 sessions per week, either morning or afternoon.
